Paradise Skis was founded by two Alberta locals with big dreams. Located in the foot of the Rocky Mountains and with access to some of the best big-mountain terrain in the world, Calgary was the perfect place to set up shop. Here is where Paradise Skis started out of a garage with a mission to create Canada’s finest skis and snowboards.
At Paradise Skis, everything is bootstrapped. There is no backing by a large investment group or mega-corporation. The process of creation, testing, and distribution is personal and is an extremely important value of the company.
For us, Paradise is found in the mountains. Its adventure seeking; powder days and slush cups with your friends; party laps in the park; followed après ski beers. It can be summed up by the uncontrollable cheers of joy as you rip your favorite line. It’s about the community, connection, and finding that beach day feeling on snow.
Paradise Skis’ mission for our clients is that every time you click into your gear, you are always able to find another day in paradise.
Cameron Brodrick - Co-Founder
Cam has always been that wild, fearless rider who's somehow instantly good at everything he does. He's equally proficient at skiing and snowboarding, a skill that makes him an unparalleled partner on any alpine mission, whether that be heading into the backcountry or getting an early morning at the resort.
In his non-ski time he loves to sail, hike, run, bike, and kite-board. Cam never seems to sit still for long and is always searching for that next adrenaline rush. His passion for adventure has taken him to 30+ countries, where he enjoys grabbing beers with the locals, exploring remote mountains and beaches, and trying new food.
Adam Wasyliw - Co-Founder
Adam grew up on skis and spent his formative years trying to keep up with his Dad. Now skiing with Adam is like flying beside a skydiver who's not afraid to hit the ground. Seriously it's ridiculous how fast this guy shreds. You'll spot him charging the resort or the backcountry with a bright orange helmet and huge smile on his face.
When he's not exploring the Rocky Mountain wilderness on his skis or mountain bike, Adam enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and watching Formula 1. While he'll never stray from his roots as a skier, Adam has agreed to give splitboarding a try this season. Look for him testing new gear on the bunny hill.
Becky Staden - Marketing Director
Becky is a Calgary local who is determined to always enjoy herself and have fun. With her signature red hair, you'll find her ripping down the double blacks on resort and very loudly singing while riding in the backcountry. People often say if you can't hear her cheering, something's probably wrong.
When she's not on skis, Becky is a professional horse back rider and coach for Staden Equestrian. She also enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and fly fishing. Honestly, the busier she is the happier she is.
