    VICE TOUR Review:

To create a touring-focused ski, Calgary-based Paradise started with its all-mountain Vice and then lightened it up with paulownia wood, two strips of aluminum, multiple layers of carbon fibre and a premium polyethylene sidewall material. No surprise, these are a nice weight on the skin track. With a fair bit of tip rocker and a shallower but nearly as long tail rocker, the Vice Tour floated in powder better than its 105mm waist would suggest. In tight trees and technical terrain, it was quick and forgiving. What surprised us was how smooth and powerful it was. Rather than the flighty feeling we’ve come to expect from carbon touring skis, this ski was planted and smooth, even in hard resort snow. “Impressive edge hold and not just for a touring ski,” said Ryan Stuart. “You never know what you’re going to find in the backcountry and this ski feels like it will never leave you stranded."

"I knew these touring skis would be light, but what really surprised me was how they can hold an edge. Really different than most carbon skis. About 10 days on them so far and no complaints."
    - Andre

"I was able to get ~10 days on the vice tour last season, and so far I really like it. Being full carbon, it is extremely light, but still manages to ski well through most terrain. This ski likes to go fast, and works amazing in powder. Looking forward to trying it in the alps on my trip next winter.

5 stars for this local company! I've met a few of the members on the team and they seem to really know what they're doing. Keep it up!"
    - Janessa

"Got a few tours in on these last season in the Rogers Pass area; I loved how light they felt on your legs for the uphill. They let me float through some waist deep snow with ease - honestly I was really impressed with how stable and controllable they felt considering how light they are."
    - Nolan

    BACKCOUNTRYSKIINGCANADA.COM Review:

"Paradise, a small ski company based out of Calgary Alberta, describes the 22/23 VICE Tour as “A carbon fibre, backcountry super weapon; the lightweight ski that doesn't suck. Sister to the VICE 105, the VICE Tour was shaped with a flatter tail profile and tail clip attachment grooves to make the uphill a breeze. A damp, strong and playful construction conquers vertical before it charges down in ways other skis can only imagine. The VICE Tour is the peak of carbon fibre tech for a reasonable price.
