FEATHER-LITE SPLIT CORE
The core integrates poplar, paulownia, and bamboo; combining the best properties of each material into the splitboard. The result? A lightweight core that’s stiff enough to tackle any conditions you’ll encounter in the backcountry.
HYBRID CARBON TECH
Strategically placed carbon fibre stringers combined with triaxial fibreglass create the perfect balance of strength, snap and dampening.
HRC 48 EXTRA THICK METAL EDGES
The hardest edge material available, HRC 48 stays sharp and resists damage. These extra thick, full-wrap edges grip the hard pack and protect your board when you need it most.
PHANTOM HERCULES HOOKS AND TIP CLIPS
Strong like Hercules! These hooks, when combined with the spinner tip clips, ensure a movement-free connection while riding, letting you shred with confidence.
RACE BASE
Sintered base (DuraSurf 4001) is the fastest and hardest on the market. The race base provides strength, reliability, and most importantly, speed. You'll never have to walk to the cat track again. We've also made our bases thicker than the industry standard to help resist damage.
UHMWPE SIDEWALLS
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is the most premium sidewall material available. These oversized sidewalls reduce weight and dampen the board for variable snow conditions.
ANTI-ICE TOPSHEETS
These premium topsheets use textured nylon to shed snow and resist scratches. Keep your board light, playful, and looking good! Like our bases, we've made them thicker than the industry standard to help resist impacts.
SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION
Sandwich construction is a high-end technique that allows us to make premium skis that are better on edge and more resistant to impacts.
NOSE & TAIL ARMOUR
Aluminum caps on the base of the tip and tail give you added protection for when you unexpectedly meet a tree, rock or pavement.
To us, all that matters is if the board fits you, it's right for your ability, and you like the colour!
The sister to our FLAMINGO solid board, our Split. keeps the freeride flex pattern and lets you charge aggressively with excellent edge control in carves and fantastic grip in turns. The poppy and playful construction offers support for drops and jumps and provides confidence that truly allows riders to push themselves and test their limits even in variable backcountry conditions.
For aggressive backcountry boarders who want to hit drops, build booters, and stay stable in sketchy conditions. The FLAMINGO SPlT. is an excellent everyday backcountry board as it will keep you floating, charge through crud, and keep a grip on ice. The FLAMINGO SPLIT is a true toy and lets your imagination take over; best for hard-charging riders of intermediate to professional ability who enjoy testing their limits.
Paradise is committed to minimizing our environmental impact; that’s why we use sustainable materials, bio-based resins, and environmentally conscious construction and shipping practices. We also plant trees for every item sold. For more info, head to our Sustainability page.
