Paradise Welcomes Our Final Athletes of 2021

We're very excited to announce the final athletes being added to the 2021 FIRST EVER Paradise Skis roster! Check out these rad athletes, they're extremely talented backcountry riders and fantastic individuals!

Haley Daniels - Paradise Skis Athlete

    Hometown: Calgary, AB

Favourite Mountain? That’s a split between White Water or Kicking Horse, but mostly find Haley touring.

    Ride of choice? Green Split

Haley is an all-around athlete where she represented Canada in the Tokyo 2020/2021 Olympics in the sport of Canoe Slalom. Born and raised in Calgary and now living in Canmore she plays in the mountains at every opportunity.

Growing up skiing and snowboarding, her father was the president of CARDA (Canadian Avalanche Rescue Dog Association) and her mother was a ski patroller at Lake Louise for many years. So, Haley would often be the practice victim while training new avalanche dogs or at the ski hill in her younger years. My parents passed on their knowledge and love for the mountains to her and her brother. Haley now uses backcountry touring and cross-country skiing as cross-training in the off-season.

Paul Fotter - Paradise Skis Athlete
    Paul Fotter

    Hometown: Gray, Maine

    TikTok: @paulfotter

Favourite Mountain? Whitefish but you can usually find Paul somewhere in the Montana backcountry

    Ride of choice? Blue Ski

Paul grew up skiing in Maine and after a hiatus during college, immediately took off west upon graduating. Now residing in Whitefish, Montana, he spends most of his time chasing backcountry lines in the northwest. While spring ski mountaineering may be his favourite type of skiing, Paul can't deny his love for early-season bush skiing.

From volunteering with the Flathead Avalanche Center to volunteering at ski movie premieres in town, Paul has a deep connection with the Whitefish community and seeks to make the ski community an enjoyable place for everyone.

Give these two a follow, they're going to be putting out some great content throughout the season!
